 Celebration Church Portland is a Christian church founded on the principle of honoring all faiths that teach love. It is a registered non-profit organization, with Music Ministry and weekly messages led by Reverend Barry Dennis.
Site features:
Rev. Dee Richardson worked closely with us to convey the vision and content for the site. This was a site makeover, and Dee helped us determine which pages to keep from the old site. We developed many custom graphics and the overall design, incorporating their "tree" logo. We also researched the Internet to find more about Operation of Hope. The site includes slide shows, photo albums, social networking links, a Google Events Calendar, PayPal Donation button, contact forms, 301 redirect, and careful attention to search engine keywords and convenient user navigation. The customer will be expanding the site over time (with our help as needed). This site was developed in a very short time. We also helped the customer develop the layout for their Constant Contact email newsletter and redesigned its top banner. |

We worked with the client to develop an overall concept, and then teamed up with a talented graphic designer to make the site's graphics more vibrant and exciting. We edited the content to assist with clarity and search engine performance, researched the industry to find an article that encourages non-profit arts organization managers to use our client's services, and devised easy-to-navigate pages with clickable "puzzle piece" graphics to speed a visitor's navigation from page to page. The BeckRidge Chorale is an award-winning adult choral ensemble with nearly 120 members drawn from southeastern lower Michigan. Village Voices is a select ensemble of 20 members drawn from the BeckRidge Chorale. The chorale's two ensembles present several concerts a year in a variety of venues.

Uses nearly every Cool Tool in the book, from slideshows and guest books to e-commerce, and integrates tools from several third-party providers including SafeSubscribe for newsletters, E-vent Software for online ticket purchases, and GiftTools for security, online donations, and "members only" pages. We worked closely with a graphic designer to produce a home page that is as elegant and dynamic as the chorale itself. (Client maintains a portions of this site. We created and maintain this blog page for our Tigard, Oregon neighborhood. This website uses Google's Blogger tools (https://www.blogger.com/start), which are more limited than the rich array of "Cool Tools" that Precision Computing Arts clients enjoy. However, our experience with "Cool Tools" made this volunteer project quick and easy to get off the ground and enabled us to push the Blogger tools to their limits. (Another volunteer is maintaining this site now.)
Site features:
Custom designed banner, extensive organizational links for easy navigation, and prompt updates of breaking news. We maintain close communication and relationships with Tigard city employees who provide source materials for us to use.
Note: Another volunteer has taken over maintenance of this site.
